Last weekend saw another return to Portpatrick for a writing retreat. There were 10 of us, 6 in one house and I shared the other house with Alison, Jan and Pearl. As always the food was abundant and delicious. If the secret of good writing is in the fortification injested there should be some successes at SAW conference.
I didn’t create any ‘new pieces’ but I re-jigged a poem adding more content and edited a short story.
I was encouraged to discover that 3 copies of Witch Hitch have been sold at the Ballantrae garden centre and 4 copies of Tartan Witch were left for sale at the Port Pantry, Portpatrick.
I did a bit of Christmas shopping and came home with new ideas for my writing.
